Hey Anne, I love Keane too! Haven't spent much time with Pandora yet to find out what other options are there, but now I'm even more tempted to go all out and get meeself a Mac, iPod, iTunes...
Thinking about it now, I just realized one thing that I like about Keane is the use of the piano...something that I really enjoyed from Ben Folds Five -- too bad they're not making more songs. :(
Yeap, Virtualern, I too like Keane's piano-driven style. Not to mention, Tom Chaplin's mellow vocals and adorable baby face (~_^)*winks*. True about Ben Folds Five, it's too bad they didn't continue on like U2 who's still going strong. *sigh* I guess, breakups are inevitable in bands; each member wants to pursue their own interests.
Since we both seem to enjoy listening to the same genre I'll leave you a list of a few of my faves: --anne (note: these are esp. great to listen to on the road)
1979 -The Smashing Pumpkins The Traveling Song -Moonpools & Caterpillars More Than This -10,000 Maniacs More Than Words -Extreme Dreams -The Cranberries What's Up -4 Non Blondes Special -Garbage
Ha! Moonpools & Caterpillars! I haven't listened to them for a long time. I'll have to dig up their CD. And will definitely check out Garbage, haven't listened to their stuff before. Thanks for the list!
