U.S.D.A. Prime
I just want to say thank you to those of you who were able to make it out to Bridgepointe for my feast. Regretfully, I wasn't able to revel in a toast to everyone for another year filled with good memories and good friends (the champagne is still in the fridge!) but I am eternally grateful for my adopted family.
Regardless of all the stress related to supplying a new apartment and preparing a 4 course meal for 16 people, I'm hopeful that everyone was able to enjoy a pleasant evening in the company of good friends. The wine didn't hurt either!You probably can't tell, but I'm really drunk right now :)

This was such a fun evening, I can't wait 'til the next one. Hmmm...salmon roe? cheese/wine pairings? Turducken?

It was certainly my pleasure to celebrate another year of friendship with y'all!
Let me know if you want the cheesecake recipe. It's actually pretty easy, the only annoying thing was without a food processor, I ended up creating my own graham cracker crumbs using a ziploc bag and a heavy cooking pan :) And I was supposed to put like blueberry, cherry, or strawberry pie filling on top -- but I find it makes it way too sweet.
Thanks for hosting a great party. As usual the food was great, and the company priceless. Here's to more of the same next year.
