That Mediciny Feeling
I hate this feeling, being pumped up on Tylenol Cold. Feels so artificial.Granted, my nose is clear, my head doesn't hurt, my throat ain't sore and I'm not coughing anymore, but I sure feel "weird". Like I'm detached from my body, floating in air -- numb to the world around me.
Can anyone recommend a good place to eat lunch in the East Bay near Hayward/Fremont?

when i had bronchitis i was taking some anti-biotics (zithro?) and it made everything taste like plastic. ugh!
Hey, come by our house...there's always food nowadays since my Mom's in town... Give us a call!!
On second thought... if you're still sick... I may have to take that back since I can't risk the kids getting sick again too.... SORRY!! But if you do want some good Malaysian/Thai/Singaporean food... check out BANYAN GARDEN in Union City (inbetween Fremont and Hayward).
Actually, I'm supposed to meet someone out there for "a lunch thing" ;) and needed some ideas...but thanks for offering!! I read up on Banyan Garden and looks like it's a winner! Will let you know how it it is...thanks for the tip.
Since I'll be done with work on Friday, I'll make a stop and visit the Cruzeseses next week (when I'm feeling better -- hopefully)
take ginger tea again today, all day! if you can get fresh ginger, even better.
i've heard good things about that Banyan Garden place as well.
Success! Not only did I like that place, but my friend did too! Thanks Tina! I'll post pics of the food later after the Sharks game.
